Portlock Gadget

Portlock Gadget

Portlock Gadget displays system information at a glance on a user's desktop in a format similar to the Windows Sidebar. Portlock Gadget provides a GUI to view system information and change system settings. This is extremely beneficial to Microsoft Hyper-V Server and Windows Server Core users as these platforms do not have GUI-based system management utilities. Portlock Gadget can also manage Microsoft Hyper-V virtual machines. This is particularly useful for Windows XP users as there are no Hyper-V management utilities available for Windows XP.

With a variety of features for system management tasks, Portlock Gadget allows you to view and manage items such as assigned drive letters, network configuration, system information, Hyper-V virtual machines, display settings and screenshots.

Additional Portlock products are required to use all of Portlock Gadget's features. For example, clicking Portlock Gadget's "Computer" gadget will open the Portlock SMART Suite for Windows web page if it is not already installed. For users who already have Portlock SMART Suite installed, clicking the "Computer" gadget will open Portlock Computer Management.
