Portlock Leap Frog
Portlock Leap Frog will assist you in creating a bootable Virtual Hard Disk (VHD) for native Windows deployment with your Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 machine. The VHD can be used as the running operating system on supported hardware without a virtual machine or hypervisor. This provides an excellent way for end users who wish to utilize the VHD technology and setup a multi-boot environment with Windows XP and Windows Vista without having to "Upgrade" or repartition the hard disk.
Portlock Leap Frog has been developed and designed to provide end users the ability to utilize the new VHD-boot capabilities in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 in one easy to use wizard. Portlock Leap Frog eliminates steps for VHD-boot setup such as the need to first boot the system to the Windows install DVD as well as the use of tools such as the "Disk Management" console and command prompt tools such as "Diskpart," and "BCDedit."
Portlock System Management and Recovery Toolkit (SMART) Suite for Windows
Portlock SMART Suite for Windows provides a GUI for managing Microsoft Hyper-V Server and Windows Server 2008 Core. Portlock SMART Suite includes a bootable platform that can repair damaged operating systems, and it has a large amount of tools to perform system tasks on bare-metal systems and virtual machines.
Portlock Device Manager
Portlock Device Manager provides detailed information about Windows system devices. Users can view devices, export a system's installed devices to an XML file, load a device driver, install a device driver, upload drivers to the Portlock Driver Library, capture screenshots and email the driver list and/or screenshots to Portlock.
Portlock Gadget
Portlock Gadget displays system information at a glance on a user's desktop in a format similar to the Windows Sidebar. Portlock Gadget allows you to view and manage items such as assigned drive letters, network configuration, system information, Hyper-V virtual machines, display settings and screenshots.
Portlock Windows Update Manager
Portlock Windows Update Manager provides systems with the latest Windows Updates and does not require the use of Internet Explorer. Downloading and installing the latest Windows Updates improves security and reliability.
Portlock Windows Update Manager provides Server Core users a graphical user interface for managing Windows Updates. Both manual and automatic installation methods are available. Windows Updates can be downloaded and saved for installation at a later time. Users can view both installed updates and updates that are not yet installed, with detailed descriptions of each one. Portlock Windows Update Manager can also export XML datasheets for data reports.
