Portlock Storage Manager Client

Compatible with Windows 7 and Novell NetWare

Portlock Storage Manager Client provides an extensive set of commands for managing NetWare servers. This includes commands for imaging and virtualizing NetWare.

Portlock Storage Manager Client manages licenses for all Portlock products and is the download manager for Portlock Storage Manager for NetWare, the Portlock Boot CD for NetWare and Portlock SMART Suite.

To download any of these products, install Portlock Storage Manager Client, import your license into the Portlock Library and use the download buttons on the toolbar. Portlock Storage Manager Client can inject a Portlock Storage Manager license file directly into the Portlock Boot CD ISO image. Importing production licenses to your Portlock Library allows you to keep track of your Portlock license files for future versions and for implementation into updated ISO images.

Note: Portlock Storage Manager Client was previously called Portlock License Manager.

    Getting started

    1. To import a license file into Portlock Storage Manager Client, select License > Import license into library from the menu.
    2. To download the Portlock Boot CD, select Download > Download Portlock Boot CD from the menu. To download Portlock SMART Suite, select Download > Download Portlock SMART Suite. A list of available ISO files will be displayed.
    3. To inject your license file into an ISO image, select License > Inject license into ISO image from the menu. Injecting your production license to an ISO file will fully activate the software and you will not be notified that an evaluation period will end soon.
